Photos submitted for use in any advertising or announcement must be:
- Scanned at 200 dpi or unedited from a digital camera
- Saved in JPEG file format with NO compression
Images with too much compression or too low a resolution will appear blurry when printed.

Camera ready advertisements must be submitted as print quality PDF files, CMYK composite colour or spot colour (if applicable). All fonts must be embedded or included.

Software used by The Recorder include Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. If a print quality PDF can not be supplied, we are always pleased to set-up any advertisement to meet your and our specifications.
